| Job Description: |
| JOB DESCRIPTION: - Have a demonstrated understanding and focus on General Ledger maintenance
- Prepare journal entries and post transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely month and year end closes on an accrual accounting basis
- Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues
- Respond to inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests
- Work with the retained CPA firm to ensure a timely year end audit
- Work with Accounts Receivable, Payable, Payroll and Operations staff to ensure accurate integration of data into the General Ledger
SKILL REQUIREMENT : - ACCA/ICMA/MBA in Accounting
- Technical skills and prior experience, at least One year in accounting and financial reporting
- PC proficient, experience with large automated accounting systems a plus. Must have meaningful experience with Microsoft Excel, including V lookups and Pivot tables
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Possess the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and succeed in a fast-paced work environment
