Rezaid  is seeking to hire an experienced CONTENT WRITER to join our Lahore office to be a part of our content marketing activities and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides, case studies, articles and marketing copy.

Working in a digital marketing environment, the successful individual will be part of an established digital marketing team including, web development and design, SEO and social media experts.

If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness. You will be joining a supportive team, working in an exciting environment in a growing, internationally focused technology business.

FUNCTIONAL AREAS CONCERNED:    

  • Software development and Digital Marketing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Generate ideas for new content types
  • Proof read articles before publication
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Write, proof read and edit blog posts and case studies before publication
  • Submit work to editors for input and approval
  • Co-ordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Ensure all round consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in History, English Literature, Journalism, Marketing or related field will be preferred from an esteemed University from Pakistan or overseas.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or in a similar role will be preferred
  • Experience in writing case studies and experience of working in a digital agency
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience in doing research using multiple sources
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) preferred but not essential
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Good teamwork skills
