| Job Description: |
We are looking for an Accounts Officer/Accountant in our office located in Rawalpindi.
Duties and tasks include but are not limited to
Accounts:
- Prepare Financial statements including Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc
- Maintain Bank Statement Records, update all Ledgers and prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements and Trial Balance following standard accounting procedures
- Ensure timely disbursements to all approved beneficiaries. Prepare vouchers, obtain approval from relevant authorities and maintain advice record with supporting documents
- Prepare receipt vouchers for all credits in accounts being maintained by the organization
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement file and process payments for suppliers
- Maintain Ledgers for individual donors/programs
- Providing Records and Coordinating with external auditors for yearly audits
Operations
- Be responsible for the smooth functioning of assigned stipend programs
- Review documents compliance of university level cases
- Prepare annual feedback reports and assist the Manager in preparation of quarterly progress updates
- Where required, travel to the beneficiary institutes for ensuring disbursements to end beneficiary
- Perform duties as assigned by the Manager/Coordinator
